The English language courses offered are of four main specializations: general, business, intercultural communications, TOEFL iBT preparation. TOEFL iBT preparation is performed from Beginner level, though it is possible to start from any higher level. To determine your level of English you should take the entrance test. You can sit for the test after a preliminary agreement (please call (044) 221 70 80, 501 24 23). The TOEFL iBT preparation program was developed by the company’s head teachers under the guidance of Kateryna Masliuk. Each level has certain number of hours - from 27 to 75, total 306 academic hours. We use only original training materials: ETS Official Guide to the New TOEFL iBT; Longman TOEFL iBT; Kaplan TOEFL iBT; Barron's TOEFL iBT Internet-Based Test; Delta TOEFL iBT; NorthStar Building Skills for the TOEFL iBT, etc. The number of of students is 2-8 per group, individual lessons are also offered. All textbooks and other resources are provided free of charge. Our goal is to prepare you for successful passing of TOEFL iBT test. Under the word-combination “successful passing” we imply getting by you as high score as possible, which will let you meet the admission requirements of the university you want to apply to. Methodology There is no need to say about super-intensive program, innovative unique technologies, and shortest terms. However, it is worth noting that our teachers are professionals with considerable work experience, who passed TOEFL iBT themselves and who know what and how to teach for obtainining high scores by the students. All teachers have their own methodological, teaching experience and ideas about organization of the training process. However, they all stick to the single training program and work to achieve the result – passing of the test by students according to criteria and requirements of ETS. Eridan-2002 Ltd., an ETS certified TOEFL iBT test administration site, offers you to: - Learn about the peculiarities of the test; - Take the tutorial test in a real-time mode with a qualified teacher, find out your approximate score and mistakes; - Attend a specially developed TOEFL iBT preparation course, which consists of theoretical part and practice with licensed computer programs that imitate the real test. Faculty Classes are taught by qualified teachers who got higher philological education and have accumulated considerable teaching experience. All instructors have studied the ETS’ training program and have passed TOEFL iBT successfully. TOEFL iBT Preparation Program The TOEFL iBT measures how well you read, listen, speak, and write in English and use these skills together in the university classroom. TOEFL iBT consists of 4 separate parts, which are to measure different skills of a test-taker: - Reading - Listening - Speaking - Writing For each part of the test you may get 0-30 points. The total score is the sum of the four skill scores. The score is valid during 2 years from the day of the test. It is possible to register only online. Go to the ETS’ site (www.ets.org.) and create your profile. Only then you can register. The registration fee is $165. Your test scores will be sent to 4 institutions selected by you. If you wish to send the scores to more than 4 institutions, you will have to pay $20 more. During the registration, you can select the available date of the test and the test center. For payment, you need a USD account and a credit card. Eridan-2002 is an ETS authorized test site of TOEFL iBT (STN12743A), it has a convenient location in the Kyiv center area. |
Staring October 2008, a business course for managers has been introduced. The course is aimed at corporate clients, businessmen, and those who prefer to communicate on a professional level.
